FLX move has always focused on creating a sense of community and I think this is what differentiates this studio vs other places.
WHAT CAN YOU SHARE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE?
I started as a newbie, had never done pilates before. I was motivated to start healthy habits in my life and decided to try pilates. Almost 1 year after starting my pilates journey I got pregnant and I was able to take classes up to the day before having my baby!! I strongly believe that pilates was key on my healthy pregnancy, it felt so good on my body to stretch and listen to my body on when to push myself and when to take it easy.
HOW HAS YOUR MIND /BODY CHANGED?
Pilates has helped me mentally and physically: I try to be present during classes and focus my thoughts on the workout and using my breath to keep me going during the class.
TIPS FOR OTHERS WANTING TO JOIN?
Just try it! There are different classes to try and the instructors are great at providing guidance and different alternatives to each exercise to make it easier or harder
