Pilates Mat or Reformer first?

  • Mat develops body-weight control; Reformer adds spring resistance for feedback. Both are beginner-friendly when taught by a certified coach.

What to wear?

  • Form-fitting activewear and grippy socks. Loose clothes obscure alignment cues.

Is Pilates safe after injury?

  • Yes, when cleared by a healthcare provider. Instructors modify moves to accommodate limitations.

When will results show?

  • Joseph Pilates famously said: “In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 you’ll see the difference, and in 30 you’ll have a new body.” Most newcomers notice better posture and core engagement within four to six weeks of consistent practice.

Essential equipment for home practice?

  • A quality mat (¼-inch minimum), resistance band, Pilates ball, and a yoga block cover 90 % of beginner exercises.

Where do we start on the Reformer?

This is the space to introduce the Services section. Briefly describe the types of services offered and highlight any special benefits or features. Encourage site visitors to learn more by exploring the full list of services offered.

Is this for beginners?
